Vipac is proud to receive the Sovereign Industrial Capability Priority (SICP) grant from the Commonwealth Government to further expand our testing services. A new, high-performance shock-testing system is being acquired and commissioned, extending our capabilities in shock and vibration testing. This additional capability will enable us to test large payloads at the severities required by various branches of the Australian Defence Force, for qualification of military components and products.
“Since 1973, Vipac has worked on many projects to deliver critical capability to our defence sector. This grant is an acknowledgment of our laboratory testing capabilities, and a welcome addition to our ever-expanding laboratories and testing capacity to better support the Australian defence sector,” said Vipac Chairman Wendy Smith.
